Sometimes we come to a place where we know who we are, and act on it. It takes courage to swim against the flow of what is expected, what is asked, what is required, and do what we know in our hearts is right. I never dressed like a punk or sneered like a punk, but I know there's a little punk rock soul that resides beneath my chest, tapping out a rhythm that I could no longer ignore.

Egotism and Tumblr

For some time now, I have been following a fellow Tumblr who is the epitome of self-important hipster douchebaggery. I think I keep following out of sheer laziness, because there’s no other reason to read anything he writes.
